Do your creative efforts flow almost effortlessly?

I want to flow into ease.

It’s time to turn and float downstream –

time to allow the essence of self to flow.

I want this effortless ease.

I’m finding solitude and focus.

Focus without thought.

Overthinking overwhelms me.

I chose flow this year - the word.

It’s the end of May…flow is revealing itself

through abstraction.

Simplify;

my thoughts

my process

my space.

To be without distraction.

Pare down, reveal the essence of creative flow.

Solitude is not always easy…ease is curiously elusive

yet I desire it.

I know that stillness is key to my flow.

There seems to be an almost wildness in this ease.

Also in finding self,

in life, love and in letting go.

My paintings are following this rhythm of paddling and floating.

Things aren’t all so tangible and sayable as people would usually have us believe; they happen in a space that no word has ever entered, and more unsayable than all other things are works of art, those mysterious existences, whose life endures beside our own small, transitory life.
